Slow Cooker Apple Butter

 3 lbs Apples, peeled and cored
 ½ cup brown sugar
 1 tsp cinnamon
  tsp nutmeg

Mix everything together, place in a slow cooker and cook, covered, until the apples are nice and tender, about 6-10 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high. Puree the apples with a blender or food processor. Cook in the slow cooker on high, without the lid, until the sauce has thickened to a desired consistency, about 2-3 hours.
